Opened in early 2012 by world renowned chef Norihiro Yuki, Soka Sushi is located in the Bucktown community and imparts a neighborly feel to diners while offering authentic Japanese restaurant fare with an unique blend of classic and modern Japanese cooking.
Chef Yuki began his career in 1965 in Osaka, Japan working at a Tokiwa. There he spent five years learning how to use all the knives needed to prepare and fillet many different species of fish. Also he learned Sushi/Sashimi and Kappo style.
Soka Sushi offers traditional sushi and sashimi of the highest quality and freshness in a casual setting with no pretense. "Our passion is to make extraordinary food for everyone".
